Private screenings and the use of the IMAX Theatre in Victoria, British Columbia can be easily arranged for any private event ranging from conferences, regional/national meetings to informal gatherings or parties.

Your guests can relax and enjoy comfortable, stadium style seating that can accommodate up to 400 people. Use the screen to make powerful and influential presentations, invite a motivational speaker, or enjoy a film for its inspirational, motivational or just plain entertaining theme. Snack foods can also be arranged. What better way to welcome guests or say thank you to clients?

Note: The IMAX mezzanine level may be available for receptions of up to 50 guests.

Kids Love IMAX! Looking to celebrate a birthday? Celebrate BIG with IMAX Victoria as your host! Choose your film from our current selection and take advantage of special birthday packages which include popcorn, a regular sized soft drink and a birthday treat for each guest. It's a great way to celebrate the big day!

Birthday Party Packages Include:

Scheduled 45-minute film of choice - Hollywood upgrades available
Small beverage & popcorn for each child
Loot bag from the National Geographic Store for each child – (gift shop will assemble the bags ahead of time and have them available when the party arrives)
Usher will announce the name and age of the Birthday Child
Free admission for the birthday child (with a minimum of 6 paying children - for groups smaller than 6 the birthday child will be full price)

PLEASE NOTE: IMAX Victoria does not have facilities to host cake parties. May we suggest visiting The Old Spaghetti Factory located across the street from us? They offer group menu pricing and will let you bring your own cake free of charge!

Parties must be booked through the group sales office with a minimum of 2 business days notice. Parties are not confirmed until you receive a confirmation letter via email.
